Today I have a sweet tooth. . .

And, instead of indulging in a handful of tootsie rolls, I am going to post about the “sweetest” store I have ever been in!

At Broadway at the Beach, in Myrtle Beach, SC, we (Ryan, Courtney, Sean, Jared, Suzanna and I) went to a store called:

We walked by the store a couple of times trying to have enough will power not to go in. When we couldn’t stand it anymore we all made a little “pact” that we would go in, but WE WOULD NOT BUY ANYTHING!

The store was delicious.

They even had Chocolate!

Needless to say, when we congregateed outside of the store after spending nearly a half an hour taking it all in, we each had a little bag of candy. . .

Oops! So much for our “pact”!

A Story about a Lazy River

In Myrtle Beach, we stayed at the Ocean Bay Club. It was a nice facility with large ocean front condominiums, a pool and a lazy river. . .

We had a good time “playing” in the lazy river, we ran around it, pulling each other really fast, seeing how many “g’s” the last person in the train could get going around the turns. Childish? Maybe. But we had a good time.

So,

One day after we were tired of pulling each other around in the tubes, Suzanna and I were just relaxing in the “lazy” in the lazy river.

See we were just floatin’!

Then, I decided to shift a little bit in my tube. . .

and it slipped. . .

and flipped. . .

and this happened!

Yep.

I totally ate it.

Ouch!

And Ryan caught it on camera.

Darn.

He thought it was hilarious.

It was 5 minutes after he snapped the picture before he stopped laughing enough to catch his breath and make sure I didn’t break my face.

I was okay.

North Myrtle Beach Vacation

Yay! It’s finally time for a vacation!

We are in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We arrived on Saturday and plan to spend the entire week doing as little as possible.

So far we have spent alot of time on the beach, and in the ocean, which is incredibly warm, and well, the rest of the time we’ve been eating and sleeping. . .

True relaxation mode.

I will post more about the details of our trip when I am able to pull myself away from the beach. . . but for now, a picture.
