On, August 11, 2008, the second full day on the ship,we arrived in Bermuda!

We docked in the adorable little town of St. Georges.

By the time we docked and  were given permission to leave the ship, it was getting later in the afternoon; so, we found the beach nearest the dock and headed in that direction.

Tobacco Bay:

We had a great time, swimming, having a cold beer, or two,  and getting entertained by the natives.

We actually videotaped a native man telling us a story about life in Bermuda, perhaps I will upload it. . . .

It was hilarious!

We very quickly realized that we needed to invest in an underwater camera and some goggles.

These pictures were taken above the water. The water is perfectly crystal clear!

Tomorrow we explore the rest of Bermuda. . .

We cruised with Norwegian Cruise Line and did a 7-day cruise to Bermuda from Baltimore, MD.

It was a great trip!

Great food, great service, and we really enjoyed having a couple nights in port in Bermuda, it allowed us to have time to explore.

In this picture we are on the ship docked in Baltimore, just after boarding, which was a breeze, surprisingly.

We are on the top deck waiting for lunch.

Sunrise on the Atlantic August 10, 2009:

We spent most of the first day on the ship sunbathing and drinking beer, after a few hours in the sun we started to feel a little like bacon, so we headed back to our room.

Ryan took this picture of me walking back towards our room, covering myself up to avoid anymore sun exposure and carrying the remainder of our bucket of beer.

He called me the “beer lady.”

After a little nap, we got back up for dinner and to watch the sun set.

The next day we arrived in Bermuda!
