Photo of the Day 12.31.2009

I took this photo of this little bird, which I think is a goldfinch,  at my Grandparents house on Sunday.Â
When I randomly chose to post this photo, I realized, that it was 5 years today that I was moving into my first house. The house that I lovingly refer to as “Goldfinch.” Â
5 years and about a million life lessons later, ”Goldfinch” is looking better than ever and rented to people who keep it that way! Wow, that house has been through a lot in 5 years! If only walls could talk. . .
 ;-)

That is a Yellow Rump Warbler. See the striping on his underbelly. Sometimes they are called Butter Butts because of the yellow in their tail feathers. I have lots of birds at my house on the water and I bet you all have many, many different species, slso.
Just like standard you’ve presented several wonderful advice. Been a lurker on the webpage for a short time and wanted to say thanks to you for making the effort to publish it.
Nice post. My friend Sal told me about this blog some weeks ago however this is the first time I am visting. I’ll definitely be back.
Because of reading your blog, I decided to start my own. I had never been interested in keeping a blog until I saw how fun yours was, then I was inspired!
