Easy Blackberry Cobbler

We now have lots and lots of blackberries on top of the squash, cucumbers and tomatoes!
This is my favorite way to eat them, other than straight off the vine, of course.
What you need:
Fresh Blackberries

Flour, Sugar, Milk and Butter
I doubled the recipe so I used 1 quart of fresh blackberries, 2 cups of flour, 2 cups of sugar, 2 cups of milk and 2 sticks of butter.
You would normally use, 2 cups of berries ,1 cup of flour, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of milk and 1 stick of butter.

Whisk Flour, Sugar and Milk together.
Melt the butter.
Whisk the butter into the batter.

Pour the batter into a buttered baking dish. When doubling the recipe a 9×13 is necessary.

Sprinkle the berries evenly on top of the batter, then sprinkle a little sugar on top and bake it for about 1 hour, until golden and bubbly, at 350 degrees.
I wanted to show you the cobbler when it came out of the oven,
but this happened!

I will take a picture before it comes out of the oven next time!
