About a month ago we found a litter of baby cottontails in the yard.  We posted about them here and here.

Friday night, while I was cooking dinner, Ryan was out mowing; I looked out the kitchen window and saw this:

When he saw me watching him through the window he brought him in to show me:

The little bunny was hiding in the grass that Ryan was getting ready to mow!

Luckily he saved him!

I would say he was a pint-sized bunny,

but he was actually a half-pint.

Ryan went out and checked the grass really well before he started mowing again,

and he found another baby.

I babysat.

And they happily hopped back to their burrow after the grass was mowed.
