We were sitting on our front porch shelling peas from our garden. . .

Shelling Peas

when I saw something out of the corner of my eye in the yard.  At first I thought it was a big mouse or a rat.  After waiting a while longer we saw some more movement in the grass, as we got closer this is what we found:

The newest addition to our backyard animal kingdom.
