Fishing at the Boar’s Head Inn

After a long day of touring the historic sites of the Charlottesville area , we checked into the Boar’s Head Inn. I was thrilled to sit down and have a glass of wine.
However,  Ryan couldn’t wait to see what was in the stocked fishing pond. So he grabbed his fishing gear, and I grabbed my wine and to the pond we went.

First Fish of the Day!

Here’s Another:

Awe! A little family of Canadian Geese.

A little tiny fish.

Snack?

Another little fish. . .

Not too bad!

At this point Ryan had walked around the entire pond, it was almost dark, and we were out of wine; so he had to stop fishing

That’s my “baby”!!! He’s always loved fishing and we’ve dined on some really tasty trout over the years.
The pictures are great!
Better luck there than at the Lost Corner, huh?
Haha, Yep!
Ryan probably only catches fish because he found out that fish oil brings out the color in oak when you rub the fish against it…
Hahaha! That could be it. . .
Ryan, you have some great pictures thanks alot for sharing. It looks like alot of fun.
